Evansville's north side was home to Indiana's largest thoroughbred farm. During Mrs. Kellogg's 1920-1960 racing career, it produced American Hall of Fame horse Hillsdale; Fighting Step, who won the American Derby; Come on Red, who placed 3rd in the 1956 Kentucky Derby, and Little Nymph who challenged Sea Biscuit in 1938. Helen Kellogg, mother to Susan Kellogg Flittner collected many exquisite antiques that adorned this historic horse farm property. Unless you have made arrangements to pay cash, your CREDIT CARD used during registration will be charged the following morning after auction close. ALL PURCHASES MADE BY INDIANA RESIDENTS WILL BE SUBJECT TO INDIANA SALES TAX. SALES TAX WILL BE CHARGED ON THE HAMMER PRICE AND BUYER'S PREMIUM (unless a resale certificate has been received by the auction company). In-House shipping is available on select items. We will assist with professional shipping on remaining items. All items selling AS-IS. Items are to be picked up at your scheduled pickup time unless prior arrangements have been made with the auction company. Items picked up on a day other than the scheduled pick-up date could result in a $25.00 rescheduling fee.
